NORCET 8 Stage I Exam Pattern and Scheme
The Stage I examination is a qualifying test. Only those who qualify in this stage will be eligible to appear for Stage II.
- Duration of Exam: 90 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 multiple choice questions
- Total Marks: 100
- Question Format: Objective type with four options
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer
Subject-wise Question Distribution:
- General Knowledge and Aptitude: 20 questions
- Nursing Subjects (based on relevant syllabus): 80 questions
The exam will be divided into 5 sections, each having 20 questions and lasting 18 minutes.
