Kangana Ranaut was born on 23 March 1987 in a beautiful city of Himachal Pradesh, Bhambla. 

Kangana Ranaut is a Bold Indian actress and director who mainly works in Hindi films. She initially aspired to become a doctor or nurse at the insistence of her parents. 

Kangna made her film debut with an action and thriller Gangster in 2006, for which she has received the glorious Filmfare Award for  Best Female Debut.

She is one of the highest-paid actresses in the Bollywood industry.

Early Days & Education of Kangana

Kangana Ranaut started her schooling from DAV School in Chandigarh, where she pursued science and maths as her core subject,

remarking that she was very brilliant.

She initially intended to become a doctor or a nurse on the insistence of her parents.

At the age of 16, her mother wanted her to get married. She was kicked out of her house because she wanted to join the glamour world. 

She worked as a theatre actor in Delhi with Asmita Theatre Group before making her Bollywood Debut with Film Gangster in 2005. 

Ranaut struggled with her meager earnings during this period, eating only bread and achar (pickle).

She initially aspired to become a nurse or a doctor at the insistence of her parents. 

Kangna made her film debut with an action - thriller Gangster in 2006, for which she has received the glorious Filmfare Award for 

Best Female Debut. Kangana also worked as a theatre actor in Delhi with 

Asmita Theatre Group before making her Bollywood Debut with Film Gangster in 2005.

Her Journey to Bollywood

Ranaut was not so sure about which career to choose; the Elite Modelling Agency was impressed by her looks & attitude and suggested that she can become a model for them. 

In 2004, one of the successful producers at that time, Ramesh Sharma and Pahlaj Nilani announced that Kangana would make her film debut with the Deepak Shivdasani-directed 'I Love You Boss'.

A helper agent took her to the office of the producer Mahesh Bhatt, where she met with the director Anurag Basu and auditioned for the lead role in the romantic thriller Gangster and got selected with replacing Chitrangada Singh.

In 2009, She featured in the commercially successful movie Raaz: The Mystery Continues, Once Upon A Time In Mumbai. She also played the character of a funny girl opposite R. Madhavan Tanu Weds Manu.

In 2015, Kangana fantastically played a double role in the movie Tanu Weds Manu Return.

She also acted in an action movie Krrish 3 as Kaya with co-actor Hritik Roshan.

Love Life of Kangana

Kangana started dating an Indian actor Aditya Pancholi. Aditya Pancholi was a married man and 20 years older to Kangana, 

They broke up owing to physical abuse faced by Kangana after a few years of their relationship. 

After breaking ways with Aditya Pancholi, Kangana started dating an Indian Actor and Singer Adhyayan Suman.

They met on the sets of film Raaz at the Mumbai studio in 2009. But, their relationship didn’t saturate.

Kangana also dated with a settled British Doctor,  Nicholas Lafferty. but because of some issues, she was not ready for marriage.

After that, She started dating an Indian superstar Hrithik Roshan and their relationship ended with a legal battle.

She had launched her production house Manikarnika films and had also built her new office located at Bungalow No. 5, Bandra West, Mumbai worth more than 10 crores.

On 9 September 2020, BMC started demolishing alleged illegal structures at her Bandra office.

The BMC had noted 14 “violations” at her office in Mumbai’s Pali Hills, which included a washroom & a toilet

apparently built-in space marked for a kitchen and an office set up in an area meant for a toilet.

Kangana Ranaut has been covered with the Y-plus category of CRPF security by the Home Ministry.
